Brandy Snaps

If you dare to devour this much sugar, the Brandy Snap makes a great partner to good coffee or use it to decorate a dessert.



  1. Place syrup, butter & brown sugar in saucepan
  2. stir over low heat till butter is melted
  3. sift flour, ginger & salt into bowl
  4. stir in butter mixture
  5. drop small teaspoonfuls onto greased trays
  6. allow room for spreading
  7. bake in moderate oven 5 minutes or till golden
  8. allow to cool on trays 1 minute
  9. place on wire rack to cool
  10. sandwich together with cream & strawberries
