Butterscotch Biscuits
A delicious caramel like biscuit, full of crunch
Ingredients
- 4 ozs butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- vanilla essence
- 2 cups S.R.Flour
- castor sugar for rolling
Method
- Cream butter and sugar till soft and light, add egg and a few drops of vanilla essence
- Mix in flour well
- Small balls then lightly roll in sugar
- Place on greased oven trays and lightly press with a fork
- Moderate oven for 12 minutes or till light golden
