Haloumi Egg & Pork Salad

A quick mid-week meal, a delicious but filling warm salad packed with protein and nutrients.


  • 2 slices haloumi cheese per person
  • 120 grams pork strips per person
  • Snow pea sprouts
  • 2 boiled eggs per person
  • Yellow cherry tomatoes
  • Green beans
  • 2 handfuls washed baby spinach per person

Ingredients – Pork Marinade

  • Dried or fresh basil, thyme, oregano
  • Olive Oil
  • Lemon Juice

Haloumi Egg & Pork Salad


  • Marinate pork in herbs, lemon juice and olive oil
  • Fry haloumi and pork in separate hot pans
  • Boil eggs for 5 – 6 minutes, cool, peel and cut into quarters
  • Cut snow pea sprouts into 1 inch lengths
  • Cut tomatoes in half
  • Toss all ingredients in a large bowl, adding pork just before serving
  • Add some extra lemon juice and herbs over the top
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
