This breakfast fruit slushie is packed with nutrients and will give you a kick start to your summer morning. It’s perfect after a work out and before your main breakfast meal, or as a mid morning snack. Refreshing, and a great way to use up those last few bits of fruit at the end of the shopping week! But why a summer bruise you ask? Well it’s the exact same colour as the bruise on my butt from falling over while enjoying the summer weather with an outdoor skate. Seemed appropriate!
- 5 blackberries
- 1 small banana
- 5 pieces watermelon
- 3 lychees – freeze fruit overnight
- 100ml water or apple juice
- Freeze all fruit overnight
- Blend in bullet blender for 2 minutes or until all ingredients are smooth
